What do gingerbread men use they break their legs? A: Candy canes LoL. Holiday cookies are a favorite! Baking makes me happy, the mess in my kitchen does not. These gingerbread cookies are soft, slightly spiced and your home will smell amazing : )

These festive cookies are soft with the perfect amount of spice. Please allow your butter to soften at room temperature. When baking is planned, I grab the eggs and butter early in the morning. Tip: spoon or fluff your flour into a measuring cup or on a kitchen scale. Another helpful tip, roll your cookie dough between two pieces of parchment paper. I love learning new tips & tricks. Confession: I have a collection of holiday ribbons. Icey blue, greens, soft snowy ribbon, black, reds, plaids, gold + more. Planning this shot in my mind, I envisioned ribbon. Three colors were photographed --- red, glittery white & sheer green. I decorated (a big smile) using Wilton's #3 tip ~ Have a great weekend! Shine Bright
