Lemon chiffon cake day! So soft, light and lemony with a sweet lemon glaze. Perfect for Spring or Summer.
Chiffon cake is airy! It's not like angel food cake or sponge cake. Separated and whipped egg whites help give an amazing texture. I have previously baked sponge and poundcakes. This recipe is my first chiffon. If my metabolism would allow me to eat a slice of cake everyday, I would! My first chiffon was light and scrumptious.
